SUMMARY:#SDMO Lighting - October 19\, 2024 - Locations: FL\, SC\, MD\, MN\, NC
DESCRIPTION:Move Over\, Save Lives. 🚗 On October 19th\, let’s remember the tow truck drivers who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Illuminate your community in yellow and help spread awareness about SDMO laws. Together\, we can create a safer future for all road users.\n  \nHere is the final list of locations participating in yellow lightings on October 19\, 2024 to honor fallen tow ops and to raise awareness of the SDMO laws that are in effect in all 50 states! I normally do only a few\, this year I spent 6 months reaching out to as many places as possible. Some denied the request\, some were not available for the date and offered an alternative\, which I took!\n\nIf you are local to one of these locations or know someone who is\, PLEASE take pictures and share them into our group #AustinStrong Memorial & #SDMO Awareness!\n1) SkyWheel Myrtle Beach\n2) SkyWheel Panama City Beach\n3) I35W Bridge that crosses the Mississippi River in Minneapolis\, MN\n4) Freedom Fountain in Jacksonville\, NC\n5) NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte\, NC\n6) Kia Center Spike in Orlando\, FL\n7) Lake Lorna Doone Park Fountain in Orlando\, FL\n8 Lake Eola Fountan in Orlando\, FL\n9) City Hall Dome in Baltimore\, MD\n10) Ben Franklin Bridge in Camden crosses Delaware River to Philadelphia\, PA\n11) Alamo Quarry Smokestacks in San Antonio\, TX\n12) Premier Bank in Youngstown\, OH\n13) Southbend River Lights that cross over St. Joseph River in Southbend\, IN\n14) Traffic Circle Fountain in Greenville\, OH\n15) RSA Buildings in Mobile\, AL (their tower) and Montgomery\, AL\n16) North Hampton Street Bridge in Easton\, PA\n17) “Trenton Makes” sign at the lower Trenton Toll Supported Bridge that crosses the Delaware River between Trenton\, NJ and Morrisville\, PA\n18) Lowery Avenue Bridge over the Mississippi River in Minneapolis\, MN (blue\, yellow is not an option)\n19) Terminal Tower in Cleveland\, OH on 10/22\, 10/19 was not available\n20) up to and including 35 additional buildings in Charlotte\, NC that are sent in by one person and up to the individual buildings ….. and the biggest accomplishment was PECA CROWN LIGHTS in Philadelphia\, PA which displays a revolving message. The message will read “SLOW DOWN MOVE OVER FOR ALL FLASHING LIGHTS. IT’S THE LAW! #AUSTINSTRONG”\nTodd Leiss and John Dewees will be at that location to take pics\, videos\, maybe go Live! Thanks guys for volunteering! Everyone please share!\n#AustinStrong #SDMO #nomorenamesonthewall #slowdownmoveover #driver128\n  \n(click on Image to see a larger View) \n \n \n
